Lockheed Martin is looking for world-class technical leadership talent in Operations Analysis to join our historic Skunk Works team in Palmdale, Ca. The selected candidate will serve as the Technical Lead for classified studies supporting the development of advanced concepts and the evaluation of systems and technologies to support warfighter requirements and desires.
The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and presenting analyses to quantify the impact of air vehicle design, payloads, tactics, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and advanced technology on vehicle survivability and mission effectiveness. Responsibilities will include: planning and execution of projects to successfully meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives; leading a team in modeling military systems and scenarios and executing trade studies applying constructive simulations; and delivering analysis to support decisions on program pursuits, platform designs, and technology development. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require developing and maintaining key relationships; interfacing with program management, Business Development, and customers to ensure success of the team's analyses efforts and garner an understanding of customer expectations. The ability to travel on occasion is required.
Applicant must be a US Citizen, as position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant has to be able to obtain a Top Secret/ SCI Clearance.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (Master of Science preferred) from an accredited college * Experience with military systems including surface and / or airborne threat systems * Aviation Operations background; such as pilot or aircrew experience
Desired skills * Team leadership experience * Mission Commander or FWIC ME experience * Air Campaign planner or contingency ops planner highly desired * Customer engagement experience; including development & delivery of presentations * Military Operations Analysis background; A9 experience a plus * Experience applying discrete or Monte Carlo simulations of military operations (Suppressor, AFSIM, EADSIM, ESAMS, Brawler) * Experience in Operational flight test * Proven interpersonal and organizational skills, with demonstrated oral and written communication proficiency * B.S. or higher degree in science or engineering preferred * Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver analytic products * Proficient in analytical methods (i.e. design of experiments, trade studies, data analytics) * Project management experience
