DSA Inc. is seeking a Spectrum Support Technician. This is a full time position in Fort Shafter and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
The successful candidate will assist the USARPAC Spectrum Manager in matters affecting the integration of Army and Joint functional systems into the theater Army's network architecture; tracks government approved satellite access requests to the supported GCC J-6 satellite manager for single channel Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Super High Frequency (SHF) and Extremely High Frequency (EHF)operations; tracks spectrum management request for support of the Reception, Staging, Onward movement and Integration (RSOI) of joint, interagency, and multinational forces in established and bare-base locations and coordinates requirements with the USARPAC Spectrum Manager..
Must have 10 years experience within the last 15 years supporting Satellite, Spectrum and frequency management matters affecting the integration of Army and Joint functional systems into the theater Army's network architecture. Coordinating submission of government approved satellite access requests to the supported GCC J-6 satellite manager for single channel Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Global Broadcast System (GBS) and Commercial SATCOM operations.
Must have 3 years of experience reviewing Army, joint, and alliance doctrine for emerging concepts in satellite communication, spectrum and frequency management for theater Army information systems.
IT Level II
Knowledge of the USARPAC G6 C&IN mission command operations, programs, and activities including but not limited to: HQ IT Support, Theater SPECTRUM Support, Plans and Exercise Support, Programs and Policies Joint and Coalition Integration Support, and Training Support
Education, Experience & Clearance:
B.S. or equivalent Experience
Top Secret Clearance Required
