Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers Engility and AECOM, has an immediate vacancy for a HRIS System Administrator.

Summary of Essential Job Functions :
  • Provide superior customer service through the maintenance and optimization of human capital systems and data. Debugs user's issues and works closely with vendors on issue resolution
  • Regularly analyze work process design and flow to drive improvement in system functionality and user experience; create forms and workflows as necessary.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems through creation of appropriate configuration controls, standards and processes, as well as regular audits of data.
  • Monitor software releases and make recommendations related to new/updated functionality. Maintain a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment, and conduct appropriate testing of new/updated functionality
  • Liaise with other departments and outside entities on integration of systems to reduce duplication and drive automation of information flow.
  • Lead Department's implementation and integration of new systems as needed.
  • Serve as the technical SME for the HR Department, providing expert functional and technical support to the organization in the use and maintenance of HR system(s).
  • Acts as primary point of contact with HRIS vendor(s).
  • Combine HR knowledge with information retrieval skills to create, maintain, and execute regularly-scheduled and ad hoc reports that contribute to analysis, decision-making, and compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate user documentation, training materials, guidelines, and info on system updates and changes.
  • Create and maintain role-based permissions and business rules and configure HR systems to enable authorized users to safely access data.
  • Partner with stakeholders in other departments for audits, reporting, projects, and other inter-departmental initiatives.
  • Specific projects and other duties as assigned.


Minimum Educational Requirements
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Certification (HRIP, PHR, etc.) preferred

  Skills/Qualifications Required:  
  • Minimum 5 years of data management experience, preferably within HR
  • Must have 3 years of experience with HR information systems (HRIS) preferably with ADP HR products including ADP Vantage or other cloud-based systems.
  • Prior HRIS implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws with the ability to apply that knowledge to day-to-day situations and issues desirable.
  • Advanced MS Office skills particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.); strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of and experience with writing queries for database reporting
  • Excellent project management skills for planning and executing multiple projects and priorities;
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency;
  • Superior attention to detail;
  • Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to write training content
  • Ability to work independently, as a project leader, and s an effective team member;
  • Focus on confidential nature of data and measures to ensure that such information is secured and maintained in an appropriate manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to influence without authority and lead complex work streams
