Roles and Responsibilities:
The qualified applicant should independently provide for support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Division of Global HIV and TB/Economics and Health Services Research Branch located in Atlanta, GA. This position may require some International travel.
* Provide guidance for strategic priorities for the Center for Disease Control, Division of Global HIV & TB, Economics and Health Services Research Branch.
* Manage and organize data and documentation on SharePoint site and Network File Shares.
* Attend Workgroup meetings to capture meeting notes, action items and decisions.
* Serves as the lead of the Branch travel tracker data information.
* Works across the three teams on strategic priorities and development of strategic plans.
* Coordinate with Program Team to develop the Workgroup Meeting Agendas and Topics.
* Perform research and create Workgroup PowerPoint presentations.
* Perform quality assurance checks on meeting materials prior to distribution.
* Identify impacts, risks, and conflicts in governance decisions and/or recommendations.
* Assist in ensuring adherence to established deadlines and decision points.
* Provide guidance to projects of high importance, bringing experience, judgment and knowledge of Branch's priorities to help accomplish goals.
* Advise Branch Chief on strategy and operationalization of technical and management systems, or on special projects; helps to identify solutions to optimize results.


Basic Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Global Health, Public Health, Public Policy or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
* 5 years of experience in public health field-based work, project management, or experience working with private sector and NGOs (Nongovernmental Organizations).
* Experience in public policy, strategic planning, and systems strengthening.
* Experience and training in the use of data to inform program strategy, program management, and results. Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
