An Avionics/Systems Engineer executing the role of Sustaining Engineering Manager (SEM) within the B-2 Hardware Sustaining Engineering (HWSE) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The SEM is responsible for the engineering technical execution aspects of the IPT, which includes Engineering Task Assessments (ETAs), Engineering Investigations (EIs), Deficiency Reports (DRs), Engineering Studies, Engineering Quick Studies, Standard Repairs and Dispositions, Requests for Change Information (RCIs) and select Technical Inquiries (TIs). The SEM maintains oversight of B-2 hardware engineering issues, including evaluating all HWSE recurring and nonrecurring tasks to determine impacted functions (NG and Suppliers) and outline the scope of work at the beginning of a task, provide task guidance/technical leadership over the course of investigations and reviews final technical reports for quality, integration and accuracy in order to meet established performance metrics. The SEM regularly interacts with HWSE IPT Management, NG B-2 Program Leadership, and Government B-2 Hardware Sustaining Engineering and Program Management. In this role the candidate will participate in bi-weekly top issues discussions with the Government customer, monthly IPT internal project reviews and brief all projects in the IPT's technical portfolio quarterly to the Government customer. The SEM responds to customer inquiries and action items. This role works directly with Govt. leadership to reach objective-oriented project goals and provides supporting NG Responsible Engineers (REs) and Project Managers (PMs) with instruction and technical direction to achieve goals. Responsible for reviewing and approving technical information to be shared with the customer and participates in technical interchange meetings (TIMs) with the Govt. responsible engineers, equipment specialists, and project managers, ensuring all technical issues are elevated appropriately to NG IPT Management and Govt. Program Management. The SEM also participates in technical interchange meetings with supplier engineering and subcontracts ensuring all parties understand the objectives and schedule. The SEM assesses supplier execution path and provides feedback. This position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and some travel is required. ELEPAY OKCSFW


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) related field Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Word) Must have at least 9 years of engineering experience. The candidate must have an active DoD Secret clearance and a background investigation within the scope of six years. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Candidate must have outstanding written and oral presentation skills Experience in Avionics, Mechanical or Systems Engineering experience.
