MVM, Inc. â a leading provider of professional, technical, administrative, and program management support services to the Federal Government â is creating a pipeline of Lead Licensed Clinical Counselors that would be interested in provisional commitment projects anywhere in the US with other highly capable team members tasked with providing care to Unaccompanied Children (UC) in a limited duration shelter dependent on the request from The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
Lead Licensed Clinical Counselors oversee a team of Clinicians while they conduct mental health assessments for all children in care as well as provide ongoing individual and group counseling, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention. As the main point of contact for their team; Leads hold daily sessions with Clinicians to check on caseload progress, discuss any policy changes from ORR, and answer questions.Â Â Â Â
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Supervise and oversee a team of Clinicians.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Consistently interact with each assigned Clinician throughout the shift to see if they need help, have any questions, or are stuck on a case.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Reviews and approves all assessments for accuracy and efficiency before final reporting to ORR.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Are involved in casework directly when circumstances require escalation, higher level services, or a referral.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintain and audit UC case files and the UC Portal in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Must be appropriately Certified/Licensed to practice.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Master's degree in social work (MSW), counseling, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement; have clinical experience as a part of the masterâs program requirements.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Two (2) yearsâ experience in a supervisory counselor role.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Pass fingerprint-based criminal background check
Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Pass Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check
Depending on the shelter location requested by ORR, MVM, Inc. may offer extended travel. Extended travel typically requires a commitment of a minimum of 30 to 90 days. Travel expenses will be paid according to Federal Travel Regulations. Locations may include, but are not limited to, New Mexico, California, Texas, and Arizona.
