Schedule: Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
In anticipation of a contract award, MVM, Inc. is looking for highly-motivated Youth Care Workers (YCW) to be part of a highly capable team to run a shelter and all surrounding operations for the temporary care and transport of unaccompanied children (UC).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision of children in care and maintain line-of-sight at all times.
Provide oversight during recreation, meal time, relaxing time, and play.
Assist during transition and movement of children from one activity to the next and one physical location to another.
Interact with children in an appropriate manner, including playing games or during recreational time.
Maintain the case file and ORR Database in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.
Would be on call based on coverage needed for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
Bilingual in Spanish/English.
High School diploma or equivalent.
21 years of age or older.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
âMust be able to travel for extended periods of time (up to 100%).

Clean criminal background check
Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) or Child Protective Services (CPS) check
Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to stand or walk 50% - 100% of the time.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 5% - 25% of the time.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 5% - 25% of the time.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 75% - 100% of the time.
