The Candidate
We are seeking an experienced infrastructure professional with a background in providing technical management support across multiple sites. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working on projects for NATO, the MoD, civil service or wider armed forces.
The role
Role responsibilities:
* Provide Project Management support and expertise for the NATO Security Investment Program (NSIP)
* Initiation of new NCl Agency projects and management of the same in accordance with Agency policy
* Generation, submission, tracking and defining of requests for Advanced Planning Funds (APF)
* Providing support, guidance and management expertise for NSIP projects on, task definition, planning and execution
* Ensure project data entry and tracking using the approved Agency methodology and presentation materials for project reviews.
* Provide project liaison and coordination internally and externally,
* Generate and provide regular status reports on the project finances, schedule, milestones and plans.

The opportunity
This is an great opportunity for an seasoned technical project management professional to work on a prestigious and critical NATO Programme. An integral member of the team, the incumbent will be responsible for working with the project team to deliver the upgrade and maintenance of the NSIP. This is a brand-new role that requires a hands-on approach to supporting the delivery of this project. The location of this role will be in Mons, Belgium with travel as required.
Minimum Requirements
* A Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
* Exposure to working to a formal project management methodology
* Recent extensive experience in the successful Project Management of C4ISR acquisition and/or development projects for a large organisation
* Knowledge and experience in current technologies including; bandwidth management, network design, switched multimedia networks
* Familiarity with related international and commercial industrial standards
* Great verbal communication skills
* Ability to obtain NATO Security Clearance
* Citizen of NATO
* Must be able to travel independently to NATO locations
Non essential requirements
* A recognised project management qualification, PMP, PRINCE 2 or similar
