Senior Risk Manager The Candidate We are seeking a pro-active, commercially aware Risk professional. The ideal seasoned project manager for this high-profile role will have experience of delivery of critical projects for NATO, the MoD, civil service or wider armed forces. They will also be exceptional at the building and management of stakeholder relationships being as comfortable working at a tactical level as a they are planning strategy. The role Role responsibilities: * Enhance and maintain the organisational risk management processes for the AMDC2 Directorate * Manage the implementation of the NCI Agency Risk Management framework in Directorate AMDC2 * Maintain an overview of all programme and project risks that are escalated outside of AMDC2 * Liaise with other elements of NCI Agency to support development of Agency policy for Risk Management * Promote AMDC2 best practices across the Agency * Lead and facilitate team reviews of project, programme and portfolio-level risks, issues and opportunities * Support internal and external reporting of risks * Serve as adviser to AMDC2 leadership in matters pertaining to risks, issues and opportunities * Serve as local risk management subject matter expert, mentoring colleagues on best practices for risk management as appropriate The company

The opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Risk professional to work within a high-profile role within a global defence organisation. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the project from design and creation of best practice to roll out and implementation, providing exposure across the business unit and very much holding the position of `trusted advisor". The location of this role will be in The Hague (Netherlands) working directly for MCR, so would suit those already situated there or willing to relocate. Minimum Requirements * Degree level qualification or equivalent work experience * 5 years work experience, within the last 7 years, as a programme/project risk manager * Demonstrated expertise in identifying technical, schedule, programmatic and cost risks on the acquisition of large, complex C3I system development, fielding and sustainment * Extensive working knowledge of various risk management tools, as well as quantitative simulation tools * Ability to independently develop and maintain an overall risk management plan * Able to independently construct, populate and manage programme Risk Maturity Matrix and/or a Risk Register * Ability to obtain NATO Security Clearance * Citizen of NATO * Must meet eligibility requirements to work and reside in The Netherlands * Must be able to travel independently to other NATO locations Non-essential Requirements * Risk/Project/Programme management qualification * An advanced degree in a related field is highly desired * Knowledge of the AirC2 systems, including ACCS * Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements * Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT If you think that you have the right skills and experience to fill this role, please hit apply below, or for an informal chat ahead of applying please contact me directly at Rebecca.email@example.com.
