The purpose of this task is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to support the RCC-C
* Be a self-motivated AD Services administrator able to provide enterprise support for the Army in a fast paced and demanding environment * Build and configure Windows-based systems and services in support of highly visible mission areas * Proactively and efficiently administer AD Services using enterprise toolsets such as Change Auditor, Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM), and System Center Operations Manager * Install, maintain, and configure computer software * Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system * Implement common preventive maintenance practices for hardware and software * Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues * Document technical troubleshooting efforts * Create documentation including standard operating procedures, system inventories, and configuration baselines * Focused on customer service and mission accomplishment * Provide updates and record relevant work details in IT service management (ITSM) ticketing system * Ensure AD configurations are compliant with organizational, Army, and DOD regulations * Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support
* HS + 7 years of IT experience, AA/AS + 5 years, or BA/BS + 3 years * To include 3+ years Windows Active Directory Service experience * IAT II certification required at hire (Security + or equivalent CE) * MCP 70-410 (or higher), within 6 months of hire * Proficiency with Windows AD services * Experience operating in physical and virtual machine/client environments * Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues * Ability to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems * Knowledge of network and security concepts as related to virtual private networks and public key infrastructure * Ability to create and/or modify scripts (batch, PowerShell) * Ability to document technical troubleshooting efforts * Familiarity with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) * Familiarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) * Knowledge of DISA STIGs and IAVAs * Be able to effectively communicate in both oral and written forms with team members, customers, and management * Work independently and as a team member; set priorities, and organize work to meet deadlines * Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
