*****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT*****

Purpose:

The purpose of this task is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform C4IM services

Responsibilities:

* Provide UNIX system administration services to systems and network assets. Provide support for deployments, both contingency and exercise as required.
* Provide the following UNIX/Solaris administration functions:

1. Design and implement all aspects of the UNIX/Solaris software requirements, life cycle: requirements definition, design, code, debugging, verification and test, and maintenance of software modules.
2. Design new UNIX/Solaris software modules to be used in complex software systems supporting Regional Cyber Centers. Work with legacy UNIX/Solaris software adding enhancements and new features to the existing software systems.
3. Install and modify UNIX/Solaris-operating system software, applications software, and terminal emulation software for access to mainframe hosts, and perform diagnostics when necessary on individual workstations as well as on the network fileserver.
4. Isolate and resolve complex UNIX/Solaris software problems involving the application, the UNIX/Solaris operating system, the hardware, and the communications infrastructure and maintain various databases running on UNIX/Solaris platforms, such as Oracle, and Sybase, as required and perform system accesses and UNIX/Solaris handling system or software problems that may arise.

* Oracle Database Administration: Provide subject matter expertise as a key member of the database development team working on a Government Program that bases the entire architecture on a central enterprise wide implementation of Oracle 10/11g databases. Update the Oracle Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and submit ad hoc reports as required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* 7+ years of experience, Experience can substitute for education.
* Security+ certification
* Active TS/SCI
