Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) Weapons Engineering support to the Modernization Group in the F-22 Program Office.The Armament Engineer will provide high-level expert advice, assistance, guidance or counseling in support of management, technical, organizational and business improvement or investigative efforts for armament integration to the F-22 Modernization development program.The SME Armament Engineer will provide input to the Government in the creation of studies, analysis and reports for proposed developmental, consultative or implementation efforts/recommendations.The Armament engineer will perform a wide range of specialized armament engineering support. Emphasis shall be placed on armament engineering and stores management system for the F-22 Program Office through the completion of the F-22 Modernization/Development activities. Modernization program includes programs and integration planning activities for software, hardware, aircraft modification, and training. The Armament Engineer will provide recommendations for Government consideration regarding options for the most efficient and effective means to plan and contract for the armament transitions to support modernization activities for the F-22 program to Program Office Director, HQ Air Combat Command and PEO. The SME Armament Engineer will also provide technical management insight and assist in the weapons integration development for the F-22 and several different weapons systems integrated with the platform.
• The SME Armament Engineer should possess in excess of 15 or more years of weapons engineering experience with
the F-22 or a similar aircraft, systems acquisition planning, development and sustainment processes.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a discipline associated with the work being performed under this contract.
• Five years of recent experience performing work that is the same or similar to what the individual is required to perform
under this contract.
• US Citizenship is required along with an active security clearance.
