About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking a full time SharePoint Developer to participate in the development of a SharePoint based application for one of its federal customers. The developer will be responsible for troubleshooting any issue with the current application as well as participate in the development of new product features.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Team Lead to design and implement application features

  • Troubleshoot existing application features

  • Perform Unit and Functional Testing on the application features being developed

  • Help develop test cases

  • Provide expert technical opinion and direction

  • Participate in meetings with the customer on technical matters

  • Document technical features of the application

  • Update and maintain deployment documentation

  • Use best practice with writing code

Education and Years of Experience:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field

  • 5 - 8 years experience in SharePoint2010 and above with other related technologies

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • SharePoint developer experience with a minimum of 5 years were spent on creating custom SharePoint code.

  • SharePoint 2010, 2013 and 2016 workflow development experience

  • Experience creating web parts using Visual Studio

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint UI and SharePoint web part development

  • Strong knowledge of SQL including stored procedures

  • Good understanding of third-party applications like Smarter Forms.

  • Experience with consuming web services

  • Strong skills required in SharePoint 2010, 2013 Development, .NET Development, Visual Studio 2012 Development with Source Control,

  • Sharepoint/ASP.NET web configuration and deployment, JQuery and JavaScript in ASP.NET

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience in SharePoint Development

  • Experience designing and implementing web services

  • Experience with Jquery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS
