Smartronix, Inc., is an information technology and engineering solutions provider specializing in Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Health IT, Network Operations, and Mission-Focused Engineering. Th candidate will serve as a systems administrator to support the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) New Equipment Training (NET) program. TBMCS NET is the United States Marine Corps (USMC) air mission planning system, built upon an Oracle database and Weblogic application servers supporting troops both in garrison and in deployed environments. This effort will include user interface, communications, database and security software installation, integration, instruction and sustainment. This program follows a government direction to deliver course instruction, solutions and equipment to service members with state of the art technologies, processes and operational environments. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Work within a team and will be responsible for the instruction, implementation, configuration and administration of TBMCS servers running on Windows and Solaris UNIX platforms.
-Handle all integration tasks while working closely with the government sponsor, other system administrators, and the operations team.
-Develop and train curriculum based on the Marine Corps standards and manufacture developed software users manuals.
-Ensure proper configuration of the software according to clients standards.
-Document and implement processes involving application installation and patching, performance improvement, availability of server platforms, and troubleshoot technical issues.
-Perform 24X7 on-call support activities as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and strong verbal and written skills.
