Number of openings:   1.5 (.5 opening may be combined with .5 opening for Technical Writer/Editor)


The Software Services division is responsible for supplying the customer with an infrastructure of collaborative architectures to provide business solutions including: legacy financial systems, records management system, human resource management systems, security systems, facility systems, warehouse systems, and corporate information systems. These systems require support of thousands of system users at multiple sites for entry authentication and approval/acceptance routing of data and for extraction and reporting of data to authorized external systems and sources.

Support includes emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DoN) information technology, to design, develop, engineer, and maintain systems that will improve customer organizational efficiency.

This tasking also includes:   new standards engineering, prototype installation, application development, data interoperability, system design, system management and maintenance; data collection, analysis, and other management and implementation efforts in support of data translation, data mediation, and data mapping.



* Provide user training and user documentation prior to production deployments if requested from the government

* Provide training, design, development and presentations support for various applications and tools produced or supported by the IPT

* Provide training materials, training documentation, training management services, classroom training or individual training as requested from the government

* Track training work using the provided software development tools




Education:   Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Psychology, or Computer Related Fields.

Experience:   Fifteen (15) years of experience in Information Technology to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.

Note:   Higher education (Masters / PhD degrees) above a labor category's minimum degree requirement can be credited as years of experience (1 for 1 - years of college for years of experience) as long as the higher degree is within the same required field of study as the minimum degree required.


* Must have current Secret clearance verifiable in JPAS.

Required Certifications:  

* Training certification, such as Instructional System Design (ISD) Certification, Master Training Specialist (MTS), or CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+)
