Summary: The Windows System Administrator will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems.

Maintains smooth operations of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers
Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency
Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts
Sets up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products
Coordinates installations and provides backup recovery
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: May be assigned responsibility for the management of the systems administration function, including associated staff
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School Diploma/ GED required
5 + years’ experience: To include but not limited to;
5+ years’ experience with Windows System Administration
5+ years’ experience with Windows Server Update Services
3+ years’ experience with Windows Active Directory
Experience with problem diagnosis and resolution for operating system and applications in VMWare EXSi/Windows environment
Experience with MS SQL
Experience with virtual server solutions and cloud environments
Experience with high availability server, network and storage solutions for Windows based servers
Experience working in large data center environments (300+ Windows Servers)
Secret Clearance required
