DSA Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer. This is a full time position in Fort Detrick, MD, which provides an opportunity to experience cutting edge of cyber security solving real world problems for warfighter.

The selected candidate will be responsible for working with a team of cyber-security professionals supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Organizational Messaging Service (OMS) program. The selected candidate will lead the OMS program Risk Management Framework (RMF) validation, certification, and accreditation process. The selected candidate must be able to write and review documents pertinent to the accreditation package. The selected candidate will also update and submit changes to the OMS program ICD 503 certification and accreditation package.
Minimum knowledge, skill and abilities:
•Candidate must have current TS/SSBI and be able to obtain SCI clearance.
•Candidate must be able to obtain or have an IAT II or III qualified certification (examples are CISSP, CISA, GCED).
•Candidate must demonstrate an attention to detail.
•Candidate must possess excellent communication and technical writing skills.
•Candidate must have expert skills in strategic planning and defining enterprise-wide cyber security functional and technical requirements.
•Candidate must be knowledgeable of DoD 8500 series requirements including the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
•Candidate must have strong understanding of Cyber Security Principles.
•Candidate must be experienced with DISA’s Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
•Candidate must be experienced with CYBERCOM’s Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices.
•Experience working with ICD 503 (DCID 6/3) certification and accreditation.
•Working knowledge of public key infrastructure and encryption systems.
•Ability to work with Government Action Officers and DoD customers, within an operational environment.
•Working knowledge of the DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) application.
•Candidate must hold or be able to obtain an IAT II or III qualified certification (examples are CISSP, CISA, GCED).
Education and Certification:
•Bachelor’s degree with a computer science emphasis desired.
