Draper is looking for an outstanding engineer to develop complex, real-time software applications used by state-of-the-art GN&C Systems. The individual's responsibilities will include: * Developing and evaluating unique, real-time, highly-reliable system software solutions for challenging problems, with emphasis on GN&C applications * Contributing and collaborating as part of a team for the entire mission-critical software life cycle, from architecture conceptualization and requirements analysis through final software verification and validation and software release * Executing software and system-level tests in various engineering environments, including complex software simulations and real-time hardware-in-the-loop environments * Clearly communicating software designs, issues, risks, and development plans to managers and customers
Applicants must have the following key qualifications: * M.S. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 3+ years of professional experience in a related field * Excellent computer and analytical skills with understanding of full-lifecycle software development * Experience with Linux, C/C++ and/or Matlab/Simulink * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Knowledge and experience in the design, coding and testing of guidance, navigation and control system software is preferred
