Cyber Security Planning Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
BS or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience, or MS + 3 yrs related experience
IAT Level II 8570 compliant (Security+ CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA security)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
As a certified Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSP), employee designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensures system security needs established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.
BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Our client provides the Air Force with the staff & technical and analytical support relating to C2, planning, implementing, and executing the AF Cyber mission, including support to development and implementation of tools and procedures for Net D and NW ops, and related incorporation of Net S and Net E support capabilities and functions. They also support the evolution of existing NWO mission for AF Cyber capabilities and 24 AF integrated processes, procedures, data and systems to support air, space and electromagnetic spectrum operations. Our client provides integrated planning, coordination, analysis, requirements and operations to enable coordinated efforts with tactical operations, National agencies, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM and Combatant Commands.
