Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Systems Administrator. This position is located at Kirtland AFB, NM. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Contract supporting the Kirtland Air Force Base Datacenter in a large networking environment..

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide system administration support of information systems for a diversified range of hardware and software technologies.
* Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of project management. These activities include defining needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operationsstaff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
* This position will be responsible for maintaining the following systems: -Windows Server 2008/2012 R2/2016 -Windows 7/8.1/10 -Windows Deployment Services to include WDS/MDT 2013 -Vulnerability Management -Patch management
* Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
* Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of any scheduled jobs.
* Conduct routine and on-demand scanning of network assets for vulnerability detection. Mitigate known vulnerabilities by deploying operating system and third-party software patches and updates ensuring all assets are in compliance.
* Maintain operating system deployment services through Windows Deployment Service (WDS) and Microsoft deployment Toolkit 2013. Routinely update the baseline images and database to support multiple OEM hardware configurations.
* Create, update, and maintain scripts using Windows Powershell, VBS, or other scripting languages for automation of administration tasks.
* Lead and participate in system and infrastructure development life cycle design, implementation, configuration, and deployment.
* Provide after-hours on-call support to Kirtland Air Force Base customer units.
* Develop and maintain system documentation, operating procedures, network/system drawings, change requests, and continuity binders for areas assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
1. Must possess BS/BA Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirements. (combined total of a minimum of 7 years between education and direct relevant experience). 2. Must be a U.S. Citizen. 3. Must possess a full current Secret or a least a current Interim Secret clearance. 4. Must possess CompTIA Security+ Certification. 5. Must have MCSA Windows 10 or obtain within 6 months of hire. 6. Must have MCSA Windows Server 2016 or obtain within 6 months of hire. 7. Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft/Linux servers, WDS/MDT/SCCM. 8. Must possess experience with Backup/Recovery Solutions, Vulnerability Management, and system patching. 9. Must have the ability to write scripts in Windows PowerShell, VBS, or other scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Active Final Secret Security clearance 2. Backup and Recovery Experience 3. Experience performing daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary. 3. Certifications: SCCM 2012, MCTS, MCITP 4. 2 or more years as a systems administrator maintaining Microsoft/Linux servers, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Operating System 5.
