Candidate must either be able to obtain interim access to Government systems due to a favorable review of the investigative questionnaire and advance favorable fingerprint results, or be able to obtain access due to a current favorably adjudicated investigation.
Eligible candidate shall have four (4) years of the following: 1) experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) in a real world software development environment; 2) Knowledge of design & implementation of computer and database management systems; 3) Possesses knowledge of state-of-the-art software/database engineering methodologies, design techniques, and, as applicable, software/database standards; 4) Requires experience with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, C#, & VB.NET); and 5) experience managing or performing software engineering activities. Eligible candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently or under general direction. Candidate may design training materials, conduct user training and perform prototype demonstrations.
Required Technologies / Skill Sets
• Direct experience using TFS for:
- Work Item Tracking
- Version Control
- Metrics Reporting
• SQL Server Experience
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Experience
• Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project
• Experience implementing TFS with and without Microsoft Test Manager Functionality
• Experience with custom migration and integration using TFS, APIs, Hooks, Libraries, and Extension Points.
Desired Skill Sets
• Experience using TFS for Automatic Builds and Continuous Integration
• Experience participating in software testing exercises.
• Always maintains a professional relationship with client, team members and internal/external agencies/organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to gain clients’ confidence.
Experience/Education Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, math, business or other related scientific or technical discipline. An additional 2 years of demonstrated experience in knowledge management may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
