Serve as a financial subject matter expert in support of Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Perform the difficult and complex assignments related to one or more areas of Financial Analysis by supporting the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization in one or more of the following areas: Cash Management and Accounts Payable, Financial Statements and Audit; TSEAS Capital Management and Reporting; and/or Federal FAMIS 4.0. Information Technology Accrual Processing
Will perform advanced assignments in general or specialized financial analysis functions and require comprehensive, specialized knowledge of both the areas related to assigned duties and the financial analysis function in general. Individuals assigned to this position require limited guidance and be detail oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, including the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
* Provide support for audit readiness to include support for financial audits. * Provide support in meeting goals and objectives as defined in the DoD FMR pertaining to the Tri-Annual Review and A/P Validation support. * Provide support for CFE assessable unit internal control program * Provide minimal operational support for training related to Financial Management System and related applications and/or systems, and related business processes. * On-Call Support. * Provide operational non-core hours support for the Financial Management System and related applications or systems. * Provide 24/7 application support to address issues that may occur during nightly batch processing and maintenance operations. * Also provide on-call support for the quarterly audited financial statement (AFS) footnote preparation process. * Support of Budget Execution Reporting Tool (BERT, eBERT) Solution for WCF Accounting * Provides support each pay period for payroll labor variances (blank or invalid Job Order Number/Op Codes in the FAMIS Labor Interface Module (FLIM)). * Query multiple databases to identify and find solutions to client problems and requests. * Provide accurate and timely reporting on a scheduled as well as an ad hoc basi
