Description:

This position is a key position leading a team on a major program supporting aerostat systems both CONUS and OCONUS and shall assist the Government in planning of drawdown, surge, retrograde, and recovery. This position shall provide recommendations on spares and consumables to effectively reconstitute sites.This position shall review maintenance plans, variance requests, purchase requests, deficiency reports, and provide recommended courses of action to PD Aerostats. This position shall assist PD Aerostats in analyzing logistics and operations requirements for PD Aerostats documentation and program requirements. This position shall provide assistance and expertise on the establishment of requirements for aerostat pre-accident planning and risk assessment, and provide analysis of accidents and incidents involving PD Aerostats systems This position shall support the Government in the preparation and coordination of (Directives Division) DD Form 1494s in order to obtain electromagnetic
spectrum certification (ESC), including joint spectrum certification and host nation coordination.

Required Qualifications:

* Five (5) years of experience supporting military operations.
* Three (3) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
* Expertise with flight requirements for aerostats, including knowledge of flight certifications and flight parameters.
* Advise on the effect of intelligence surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) systems on aerostats.
* Advise on operational procedures and reporting tools.
* Analyze operational data to identify and assist in resolving operations-related and mission-critical issues affecting Warfighter support, and assist leadership with refinement of aerostat operational procedures.
* Deploy CONUS/OCONUS (estimated to be 75% of the time).
