This position is a key position leading a team on a major program supporting aerostat systems both CONUS and OCONUS and shall assist in conducting site surveys to determine suitability of potential locations for PD Aerostats systems, and shall prepare and deliver site survey which includes recommendations based on the concept of operations (CONOPS) and the existing U.S. and coalition sectors' intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance architecture, and identifies problems, risks, and potential impacts on PD Aerostats systems, and provide recommendations on alternative sites. This position shall assist the Government in completing site preparation/removal and networking interoperability for deployed systems. This position will assist the Government in familiarizing commanders, units, and Governmental personnel to understand PD Aerostats systems capabilities and how PD Aerostats systems can be used effectively to support their mission. This position shall assess PD Aerostats facilities, land, and container availability and provide recommendations on intra-theater movements and equipment disposition. This position shall monitor site helium levels and coordinate with the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA-E) for helium transportation.
* Five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting military logistics. * Three (3) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length. * Coordinate system transportation in and out of areas of operation. * Monitor helium and coordinating helium transportation. * Review logistic support requirements in OCONUS environments. * Perform container management and provide recommendations for inventory disposition. * Assist in site survey analysis. * Assist and provide expertise in the familiarization on aerostats systems.
* 10 years of hands-on experience supporting military logistics. * Five (5) years of logistics with logistics for aerostats larger than 20 meters in length.
