Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Intelligence Collection Manager to join our team in Afghanistan and locations throughout the ATO. We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. The Intelligence Collection Manager shall function as part of a forward deployed (Afghanistan) intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A staff's analytical requirements.
Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Coordinate all C-IED Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection requirements and ensure all intelligence data is properly disseminated within the supported command/organization. * Develop, maintain and update collection plans based on the supported Commander's Priority Intelligence requirements prioritized in support of C-IED specific targets. * Monitor a wide range of available organic and non-organic (organic sensors are assigned/attached to the supported command/organization; non-organic belong to other commands/organizations) collection systems for newly nominated requirements, then validate and distribute them as required. * Prepare ISR assessment metrics of IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations. * Interface with higher, lateral and subordinate commands/organizations' Collection and Requirements Managers, including entities within ANSF/GIRoA to answer intelligence related RFIs and de-conflict or collaborate on AOR C-IED requirements and reporting. * Conduct presentations and briefings when required.
Required: * A minimum of four (4) years collection management operational experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies. * Have a thorough understanding of National, DoD and service collection techniques, capabilities, and applications. * Proficient in utilizing multiple sensors from the intelligence disciplines (SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, CI, and MASINT) to collect intelligence. * Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications, Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and intelligence related automation. * Knowledge and familiarity of DoD systems, experience with Intelligence Community Collection Management systems, and mission applications. * Possess strong writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a Combine/Joint intelligence team. * Possess strong briefing skills and be capable of effective communication in the accomplishment of collection management reporting and requirements. * Current active TS/SCI clearance. * Must be able to pass all required medical/dental/psychological examinations deemed necessary to be considered deployable by the US military to enter into a hazard duty location. * Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract. * Must be willing to deploy for up to 1 year ($5,000.00 completion bonus) * Must possess a US passport valid for at least 18 months. * Must possess recent collection management experience while deployed to Afghanistan or Iraq.
Preferred: * College degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) or equivalent mid-level military enlisted or company grade officer experience * Knowledge of communication and dissemination architectures * Previous coalition/Joint assignments * Tactical ground and air sensor operations and management experience * Background in National, DoD and Service collection platform capabilities, collection management planning, synchronization, execution and assessment.
The working environment can range from an office to an outdoor setting. Environmental conditions could include, extreme heat, extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, containments, and cramped work space. The work environment could require 50% to 100% of time spent outdoors. Job Hazards include possible exposure to high places, hazardous conditions, equipment and situations. Work attire could include specialized protective or safety attire. Physical requirements for this position include, walking, running, crouching/crawling, bending or twisting, making repetitive motions, and so on.
The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Afghanistan and locations throughout the ATO, supporting a DoD customer.
