TITLE: Quality Control Manager
DURATION: 6 months contract with the possibility to go full-time
TRAVEL: 25% or more, as needed
SCHEDULE: Must be flexible to work holidays, nights and weekends

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for our Unaccompanied Children (UAC) program.

The ideal individual will be driven by a passion for excellence and quality. The candidate will work closely with the program’s management and technical team to address challenges and identify areas of improvement.

In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance plan, procedures and methods, to ensure high-quality outcomes for the program. You will provide training, education, coaching, etc. in support of the team as well as work in collaboration with managers and technical staff to ensure high-maturity practices and exceptional outcomes in alignment with MVM’s methodology as well as the client’s methodology.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Oversee and monitor the development and implementation of the quality management improvement program, in collaboration with the Program Manager and other staff
Successful history of collaboration with geographically dispersed teams
Pragmatic approach to quality process
Develop and edit quality management policies and procedures
Work with Program Manager and others to develop performance improvement targets for quality, service, and efficiency
Implement systems to ensure that services conform to regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and MVM policies
Design and conduct surveys to assess the achievements of MVM and satisfaction with the services provided
Collect information systematically; perform statistical analysis and data analysis for reporting and communicating results, feedback and recommendations to the programs and stakeholders
Assure that improvement activities are documented and reported within the organization and externally as appropriate
Engage staff and stakeholders in continuous quality improvement
Perform quality control audits as necessary
Prepare reports and provide feedback to staff in an educational manner
Assess quality improvement training needs; plans and implement training for staff as necessary
Conduct meetings, training's and information sessions with staff and stakeholders as necessary to promote the quality management program
Develop and implement scheduled audits as well as spot checks of the Transportation Specialist
Manages, reviews, and monitors maintenance of member records to ensure both internal and external quality assurance standards and timely completion in accordance with client and MVM’s Policies.
Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality
Provide the team with thorough, timely, legible, accurate, objective information through documentation
Analyze program data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
Provide leadership support to Quality Control Specialist

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, human services, criminal justice, education, or a related field; OR a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the field of social work, child protective services, pre-trial probation, law enforcement, or related field
Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, and requirements for managing a quality control program of this size and scope
Knowledge of the CQI (continuous quality improvement) process and the ability to apply concepts to varied activities.
Ability to show near native proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English and Spanish
Strong computer skills and proficiency of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver's License, clean driving record
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Availability to travel within the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience in the delivery of child welfare investigations or services to children
Experience with unaccompanied children, juvenile detention or rehabilitation or working with minors/youth

Must have lived in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years
