The Security Services Manager shall be responsible for managing security services.
It is desirable that the Security Services Manager have the following qualifications:
Master’s degree in IT Security or related field of study
At least fifteen years of demonstrated experience in the successful design, development, integration, operation, certification and accreditation, and FISMA compliance of classified enterprise IT and telecommunication system security services;
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification;
Successful supervision of, and ability to provide detailed engineering and operational leadership to, employees of various labor categories and skills in telecommunications or IT;
Knowledge of, and experience with, configuration management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines, to include IEEE, ISO 9001:2000, and SEI CMM standards;
Knowledge of, and experience with, DHS Policy 4300B and DHS Policy 4300C;
Knowledge of, and experience with, network security;
Knowledge of, and experience with, networking and network-based software applications;
Knowledge of, and experience with, encryption devices and procedures as they relate to classified networks;
Experience developing organization system security architecture and IA policy;
Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging IT and telecommunication technologies;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and proficiency in the use of office productivity applications;
Knowledge of industry and Government best practices.
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and twelve to fifteen years of related experience, supervisory/management experience and to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE, or other government security regulatory manuals.
