Aerospace Repair & Modification Technician (Veteran Preferred) Location: Tacoma WA area Employment Type: Full-Time Clearance: Preferred but not required ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking skilled veterans and former military technicians to join our aerospace team. If you have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or leading teams on complex mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems, this role translates well to your background. In this role, you will support the assembly, maintenance, testing, and repair of aerospace vehicles, ensuring systems meet strict safety and performance standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components to correct failures or implement upgrades • Lead and oversee maintenance, overhaul, and system configuration activities • Configure aerospace vehicles and test equipment for operational readiness • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues • Repair or replace faulty components to restore full system functionality • Perform validation and verification testing on systems and components • Inspect parts and completed work to ensure flight worthiness standards are met • Document maintenance actions, repairs, and test results in compliance with industry and regulatory requirements • Support and oversee training of junior technicians and team members • Work under general supervision while maintaining high levels of accountability ________________________________________
