Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong enterprise data and governance experience to support a mission-focused federal environment in Bethesda, MD.
This role centers on enterprise data management, data integration, data governance, and configuration management, ensuring data is structured, accessible, reliable, and aligned to mission objectives.
You will work across complex, federated systems, supporting data lifecycle processes, interoperability, and documentation control in a high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support enterprise data lifecycle management (ingestion, storage, usage, archival, retention)
Implement and maintain data governance standards, including metadata, validation rules, and quality controls
Perform data integration and interoperability across multiple enterprise systems
Maintain and optimize enterprise data repositories and storage environments
Conduct data quality assessments and improve reliability through standardization and automation
Support configuration management (CM) and documentation reviews for traceability, version control, and consistency
Analyze data structures, workflows, and policies to improve efficiency and accessibility
Develop technical documentation, reports, and briefing materials
Support integration of data models, schemas, and standards into enterprise environments
Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams to support evolving requirements
Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
8+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, data governance, or enterprise data environments (or 12+ years without a degree)
Experience with:
Enterprise data lifecycle management
Data governance, metadata management, and data quality
Data integration / ETL processes
Enterprise data repositories / storage platforms
Knowledge of configuration management, version control, and documentation governance
Strong experience developing reports, briefings, and technical documentation
Proficiency with:
SQL (required)
Python (preferred)
Excel / Access
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Intelligence Community or federal environments
Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Purview, etc.)
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, NiFi, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud data environments (AWS, Azure)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git
Experience with data quality automation and validation processes
Understanding of enterprise interoperability standards and data exchange methodologies
