Title: DevOps Engineer

Must Haves
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with Git and version control best practices
• Hands on experience with AWS services and APIs
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong Linux/Unix systems experience
Plusses
• Experience with Kubernetes or ECS
• Security automation or compliance as code experience
• Experience supporting mission critical or operational environments
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Background in software development or systems engineering
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• AWS DevOps Engineer or similar certification
Day to Day Responsibilities
Insight Global is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer III to join a client in the federal cybersecurity and government services industry supporting rapid cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. This individual will automate, optimize, and maintain secure cloud based engagement kits used by analysts during active cyber incidents. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code deployments, and automating cloud resource provisioning and scaling. The engineer will collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability. This role supports monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization during live operations. Additionally, the engineer will participate in security hardening, compliance automation, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
