Job Description
We are seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst to support a federal contract in Ft. Meade, MD.
Desired Experience
Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), Cyber Fusion Center, or similar operational environment.
Experience performing cyberspace analysis, incident analysis, threat analysis, or cyber intelligence activities.
Experience collaborating with federal cyber centers, security teams, or incident response personnel to identify root causes and assess cybersecurity incidents.
Experience contributing to cyberspace situational awareness products, reports, dashboards, or operational briefings.
General understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and defensive cyber operations.
Experience monitoring, assessing, and reporting on cyberspace operations, capabilities, risks, and vulnerabilities.
Ability to analyze incomplete or conflicting information and develop recommendations to support operational decision-making.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, incident response processes, and security monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly
Preferred Certifications
CompTIA Security+
Network+
CySA+
GIAC Cyber Defense certifications
Other DoD 8140-compliant cybersecurity certifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
