The Space Quality Assurance Team has a great opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Associate Manager (Assoc Mgr) located at one of our Continental United States facilities. The SQE Assoc. Mgr role is responsible for ensuring the flow down of requirements to suppliers, supplier assessments, supplier improvement, assuring quality management systems, and coordinating supplier assignments. The SQE Assoc. Mgr will lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers who work from main Lockheed sites or remotely. You must be a motivated change agent, responsible for providing resource management to ensure that the right skills are being applied across the team while ensuring mission success and efficiency. The Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) organization focuses on Standardized Process, Cross-functional Alignment and Upstream Prevention. This role will be crucial in standardizing our supplier assessments and supplier improvement and the processes the team follows.
Basic Qualifications:
• Leadership or team lead experience prioritizing and able to managing workload to meet program need dates
• Demonstrated change agent with experience implementing continuous process improvements
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001, or anything else)
• Knowledge of Supplier Quality activities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Ability to travel

• Prior experience in Supply Quality competencies
• Experience working on and leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams
• Inclusive and customer focused behavior and problem-solving abilities
• Experience developing employees, building constructive partnering relationships with suppliers, customers, employees, and/or other Business Areas within your company
• Proven ability to manage Quality Assurance efforts in accordance with enterprise-level command media and Program specific requirements

• Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt
• American Society for Quality Certifications
• Familiarity with LM Procure to Pay (P2P), SAP, and/or EPDM systems
• 5+ years of related experience

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
