Summary: Bridge Defense seeks a highly qualified Intelligence Planner to support Joint Staff J25 at the Pentagon in a full-time, on-site role focused on integrating intelligence capabilities into strategic and operational planning efforts. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence national defense planning through campaign development, crisis response, and intelligence integration while working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support developing and coordinating key lines of effort focused on the problem set
- Build POAMs, determine projects’ objectives and scope, schedule and assess projects' success, facilitate working groups, communicate with senior leadership, and leverage skills in analytic or planning methodologies
- Employ intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD
- Develop campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
- Assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process
- Find faster, better ways for the agency to work together
Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Experience in a Joint Staff or COCOM
- Knowledge of the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System
- Ability to work independently, meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and develop and maintain relationships across the IC, DoD, and partners
- Ability to facilitate planning, prioritization, and synchronization of client activities to achieve effects that gain and sustain military advantage
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in intelligence planning, or 6+ years of experience in intelligence planning in lieu of a degree
Desired Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- PMP Certification; or Intelligence Planning Certifications such as JAWS, IPC I, or IPC II Certification

- Critical thinker with strong technical skills, diagnostic skills and problem-solving ability.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills to negotiate direction, drive projects and projects to successful conclusion and deliver knowledge to team members verbally and via clear designs, runbooks and technical engineering and exchange sessions.
- Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, collaborative and motivated to champion continuous improvement.
- Ability to develop peer networks across an enterprise to maintain technology awareness and to support resolution of problems.
- Ability to operate across traditional technical boundaries, comfortable working in the compute space as well as the storage space in an operational capacity.
- Technically curious and driven to learn new skills.
Clearance: TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years)
Location: The Pentagon; On-Site
Salary Range: 130K - 150K
General Factors:
- Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; overtime should be expected when schedules demand it.
- Willing to travel, if needed.
- No Relocation.
- Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
