What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorizations, and report irregularities involving people, property, and/or vehicles.
• Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, following weapon handling protocols, and communicating promptly with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
