Blu Omega is seeking a Technical Microsoft Platform Manager to support a federal program focused on Microsoft platform management. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for overseeing the administration, support, and strategic development of Microsoft platforms, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform. The position requires experience supporting platform administration, governance, and support functions within a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide system administration support, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, installation, and maintenance of Microsoft platforms.
  • Administer SharePoint On-Premises (Central Administration, PowerShell scripting, recovery, CU updates).
  • Manage SharePoint Online, including site lifecycle, external sharing, app catalogs, and migrations using tools like SPMT.
  • Configure and manage Azure API Management and Application Gateway, including policies, versioning, and monitoring.
  • Administer the Power Platform, managing environments, security roles, DLP policies, and deployment strategies for development, testing, and production.
  • Deploy and operate the Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.
  • Maintain auditing, performance analytics, and application availability monitoring.
  • Support citizen developer programs and governance policies.
  • Manage licenses, service agreements, procurement, and develop SOPs for operations and maintenance.
  • Enforce change and configuration management processes.
  • Support FISMA compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance, vulnerability assessments, and security controls.
  • Operate Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support via in-person, phone, and remote channels, with incident tracking in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Analyze help desk metrics for trend identification and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Microsoft platform administration and support.
  • Proven expertise in administering SharePoint Server On-Premises, including Central Administration, PowerShell scripting, and CU updates.
  • Extensive experience managing SharePoint Online, including site lifecycle management, migrations, and tenant-level administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure API Management and Application Gateway configurations and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform administration, environment setup, and security policies.
  • Proficiency in deploying and maintaining CoE Starter Kit environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to support citizen developer programs and enforce governance.
  • Skilled in platform security, FISMA compliance, vulnerability assessments, and security controls implementation.
  • Experience operating Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via various channels, including incident tracking.
  • Ability to analyze help desk metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement.

Certifications
  • PL-200, PL-600, MS-102, or AZ-104 (mandatory)

Compensation
Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
