Job Description

G VI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. The selectee will serve as a Financial Management Analyst within the NAWCAD Business & Financial Operations Department supporting a major NAWCAD Mission Area and will be accountable for budget execution responsibilities and ensuring compliance with Congressional legislation and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance. The analyst will make determinations and perform or advise in any of the phases or systems of budget and financial management.

Position Responsibilities (Journeyman) :
  • Apply regulations, policies, and operating instructions applicable to financial management operations.
  • Compile data for budget estimates.
  • Utilize a variety of office automation software (i.e., word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, graphics, and databases) to support financial management initiatives.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies and recommending solutions to personnel.
  • Utilize financial systems to verify and reconcile fiscal business.
  • Interpret financial regulations to communicate information to personnel and analyze work throughout the budget cycle.
  • Draft and formulate budgets, task plans, and budget execution plans.
  • Ensure organizational financial practices are in compliance with financial management rules and regulations.
  • Use data visualization tools and office automation software to support financial management decision making.

Support requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Business/financial/resource planning and funds management support to various program management offices.
  • Prepare and track outgoing funding documents (OFD) using Navy ERP.
  • Coordinate and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
  • Prepare fee for service memos.
  • Coordination and administration of all business and financial formulation, submission, justification, and execution services for Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and direct program funding to include tracking of commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Provide support in building Project Structures to include Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Network and Activity elements, control accounts utilizing Navy ERP.
  • Validate chargeable objects, and input and track cost recovery charges utilizing the Cost Distribution Accounting Subsystem (CDASS)


Position Requirements:
  • US Citizen.
  • Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Tier 3 Public Trust Clearance.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-8 years of Financial Management/ Customer Service Experience
  • Two (2) years of Navy ERP experience preferred .
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
