Job Title: ISSE (ZTA Engineer)
Location: Washington, DC
Clearance: Top Secret required, will need to process for a Q clearance
Education/Experience: A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent and 14 years of relevant experience. With a relevant master's degree, 12 years of relevant experience is acceptable. With a PhD, 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Job Description:
• Design and implement Zero Trust Architecture aligned with NIST SP 800-207
• Support identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) initiatives
• Implement micro-segmentation, least privilege, and continuous monitoring controls
• Evaluate existing architectures and recommend Zero Trust improvements
• Integrate security tools (IAM, endpoint security, network security) into ZTA framework
• Support policy enforcement, authentication models, and secure access solutions
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders on ZTA adoption
• Experience with Zero Trust principles and frameworks
• Strong understanding of identity management, access control, and network security
• Familiarity with NIST (especially 800-207, 800-53)
• Experience with enterprise security architecture design
