Job Description
Job Title: ISSE (Cloud Engineer)
Location: Washington, DC
Clearance: Top Secret required, will need to process for a Q clearance
Education/Experience: A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent and 14 years of relevant experience. With a relevant master's degree, 12 years of relevant experience is acceptable. With a PhD, 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Job Description:
• Design and implement secure cloud architectures (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
• Configure and manage security services (IAM, security groups, logging, encryption)
• Support ATO efforts and RMF compliance for cloud systems
• Perform vulnerability management and remediation in cloud environments
• Monitor cloud systems for security risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code security controls
• Collaborate with system owners and developers on secure cloud deployments
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure (GovCloud preferred)
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and FedRAMP requirements
• Experience with RMF and NIST security controls
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps and infrastructure as code
