Location: Washington, DC area (hybrid)
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to support a federal client in analyzing business processes, identifying operational needs, and helping deliver technology-enabled solutions in a secure federal environment.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to assess current-state operations, gather requirements, and define future-state solutions that improve business performance and mission outcomes. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions while supporting Agile delivery efforts.

What You'll Do
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Analyze organizational processes, systems, business models, and technology integration to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assess current-state operations and help define future-state business solutions
- Gather, document, and validate customer and stakeholder requirements
- Research, collect, and synthesize information to support business process improvements and solution development
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure business needs are accurately translated into solution requirements
- Support Agile delivery activities, including requirements refinement and stakeholder engagement
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, requirements artifacts, and supporting materials
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and requirements effectively to project stakeholders
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid work environment
- Must be local to the Washington, DC area and available to support onsite activities at least once per week
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience with ServiceNow
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience with Agile methodologies and Agile delivery environments
- Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements
- Experience supporting business process analysis, requirements elicitation, or workflow documentation activities
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesize information and translate business needs into actionable recommendations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments
- Familiarity with business process analysis, process improvement, or workflow mapping methodologies
- Experience working with Agile teams and iterative delivery approaches
- Exposure to requirements management, user story development, or system implementation activities
- Experience using collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms
- Support mission-critical federal modernization and transformation initiatives
- Gain hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and Agile delivery
- Collaborate with experienced professionals in a secure, mission-focused environment
- Build a strong foundation for growth within federal consulting, technology, and program delivery
