Pay Range: $60-75+/hr
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Security+ or equivalent AND CCNA or JNCIA
• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
• Must have hands-on experience with multi-vendor switching and routing with Juniper and Cisco
• Must understand the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols BGP and OSPF
• Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills
• Must have firewall experience, especially with Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
• Must have experience with UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and TCP/IP network design
Day to Day:
This role involves acting as a Network Development Engineer, assisting with buildouts and deployments to the operational environment as required. The candidate will collaborate within an agile Scrum team, planning work based on customer needs and contractual commitments. They will serve as a primary Network Engineer responsible for planning, deploying, integrating, and testing network upgrades at operational sites. Additionally, the candidate must travel to remote locations to lead network installations, troubleshoot issues independently, and provide regular updates to Program personnel.
