Lockheed Martin Space's internal Visual Communications live-action team is seeking a talented and driven Visual Media Sr. In this position, you will work closely with art directors, creative directors, producers, multi-disciplined artists, and internal clients to develop compelling, humanizing, and impactful visual stories.

In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:

• Executing footage intake, video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, color correction, overlaying animated graphics and sometimes working on set during live-action productions for photo and video.
• Working closely with designers, audio engineers, producers, art directors, creative directors, and internal clients to maintain a high level of execution.
• Working independently and with multidisciplinary teams to contribute throughout all phases of a project, from conception to completion.
• Operating photo and video cameras and working on-set operations with our live-action production team. This can sometimes involve domestic travel.
• Creating a wide range of highly impactful video edits through a firm grasp of strong storytelling, precise pacing, intentional sound design and smooth, motivated transitions.
• Collaborating with other team members through organized file structures and creation of audio mix preps, animatics, color/finish preps and MOGRT files.
• Delivering content in highly unique delivery specifications and aspect ratios on tight timelines for internal and external marketing.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 3+ years professional experience in video production.
• Portfolio demonstrating advanced skills in video editing, color correction, file management and post-production operations.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong technical skills in industry-standard photo and video camera operation as well as on-set experience for live productions.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Advanced Education/Training.
• Experience with (DAM) Digital Asset Management systems.
• Experience with live webcasting setups and operation.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design, layout, and typography skills.
• Familiarity with motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Familiarity with AI Tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, or other text-to-image generators.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
• Experience preferably in the commercial or film industries with a background in live-action.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, and the ability to convey creative ideas within a collaborative environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
