The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.
We have a near-term need for a Business Analyst to provide primarily remote support out of the Northern VA/DC area.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst supporting the DOC National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) CHIPS Research and Development Office (CRDO) will contribute to the success of funded awards under the Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), emerging initiatives under the CHIPS Act, and communication functions promoting semiconductor R&D efforts. The position focuses on assisting program managers and key stakeholders in operational and administrative support tasks to advance program goals. Specific responsibilities include: Programmatic Portfolio Management, Performance Monitoring and Reporting, Schedule Management, Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Support, New Initiatives Support, Communications and Outreach Assistance, Stakeholder Coordination, Process Improvement, and Documentation and Knowledge Management.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of work experience.
- Experience in programmatic/project management support or Federal/public sector programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse organizations.
- Experience in tracking deliverables, maintaining schedules, and managing timelines for complex projects.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of project management tools/software.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Able to work onsite/hybrid based on client requirements in Northern VA and the DC metropolitan area.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a DOC NIST Public Trust.
