Great Hill is seeking a Blood Bank SME to support work with Armed Services Blood Program in Falls Church, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Perform testing related to blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
- Report on blood product compatibility
- Assess country supply chains including collection, processing and storage capabilities
- Provide reports and briefings to senior leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Hematology) OR minimum three additional years' experience as Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Minimum three years of experience in clinical laboratory scientist role working with DOD military or civilian customers
- Strong analytical skills and experience with transfusion medicine
- Expertise in blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to assess supply chains
