Senior Systems Engineer

This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for an onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA.

In this Systems Engineering role, you will join a talented team that develops and supports the life-cycle of the LTAMDS radar.

Day in the life:

• Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• An active Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
• Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
• Experience in developing and managing requirements.
• Experience with C++, Python, or similar • Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
• Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

• Full benefits: $105,000 to $131,000 annually
• Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $143,000 annually
