DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Air Operations Center (AOC) Engineer to support the C3C / Kessel Run (KR) Division, which is within the USAF C3BM Directorate.
The engineer will provide Air Operations Center Engineering support to assist the program manager in daily office efforts to develop, or perform management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. They will also identify and maintain key documentation through wiki sites for the Operations Command-and Control (OpC2) branch needed to support the program; and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place. The engineer will apply Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) experience and expertise to supporting usability testing and user experience research and design for Kessel Run software applications.
Essential Job Functions :
Identify, collect, synthesize, organize, and manage organizational knowledge in support of portfolios and products across the branch.
Accumulate, understand, and leverage knowledge about the business activity on behalf of the organization and its stakeholders.
Building and organize the company's conceptual assets into knowledge bases through wiki sites.
Gather inputs/documentation, draft responses and facilitate reporting processes to inquiries from various sources.
Assist in documenting and testing operational processes within/between applications to support analysis of operational threads within/between applications for integration and test.
Assist in performing in-depth validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures; analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering systems.
Assist in performing in-depth program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.
Assist in performing and conducting in-depth reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs processes, manage, sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications providing support for stakeholder management and communication operations as a Kessel Run conduit to Air Force Air Operations Centers.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level clearance.
MS/MA Degree10+ years of related experience.
Salary Range: $120,506-$165k,000

- Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions.
- Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.
- Four or more years' experience in the DoD as a C2 weapon system operator, engineer, support, or commander working directly within a CAOC.
