Systems Admin Linux shift
Program requires a TS SCI clearance and Sec + in Colorado Springs
Program Background:
This program is at a mature state, however is receiving a lot of new work from the sponsor requiring new pipelines be built, tested, and made to become operational quickly- critical changes requiring a strong need for Windows or Linux administration help and DEV OPS help. This person will support not just one mission, but two or three! Routinely they receive engineering adjustments, however this fully operational with many more projects being added by the sponsor. If someone is interested in a cool mission with DEV OPS and cloud top technologies, this is the place for them!
Day to day:
Conduct and correct files servers or administer either Windows or Linux file servers and manage the user base
Follow security protocols and procedures (via SEC + requirements)
Set up Accounts for the user base
Troubleshoot where/when necessary
Eventually will learn to deploy software
Perform installations via scripting/software
Create solid documentation for other teams
Required Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in administering either Linux file servers and managing a user base (tier 1 tier 2 levels)
Experience or understanding of sound system engineering practices and security practices related to system administration
Experience in producing software architecture documentation and leading teams of administrators
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, PostgreSQL, SonarQube
Familiarity with virtual machines and templates
Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure provisioning
