Lockheed Martin seeks a highly motivated Systems Software Integration Engineer to join the Global Security team in Denver, Colorado.
As a Systems Software Integration Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Integrate Space Flight Hardware and Software from component level through system integration and test
• Perform HW / SW interface compatibility analyses
• Perform system analysis (resource utilization, throughput, response time, etc.), and interface definition and management/execution
• Support HW / SW integration risk reduction planning and test execution
• Support studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities
• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission
• Support software based and hardware in the loop system test planning
• Support and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
To maintain the program's "go-fast" culture, AI&T Engineers will work in a digital environment, utilizing tools such as:
• Cameo for model-based systems engineering
• DOORS (Classic) for requirements management
By working collaboratively with the customer and leveraging digital tools, the Systems Software Integration team will establish a robust test approach that ensures the successful integration of new systems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and one or more Systems Integration functions, including:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
e.) Design reviews (SRR/SDR, PDR, CDR)
• Familiarity with the Systems Product Lifecycle
• Eligible for TS/SCI security clearance (DoD or DoE equivalent), U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors Degree (BS) in Engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment
• Ability to absorb technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution
• Experience with data thread integrity through a system
• Experience managing latency and timing budgets
• Experience integrating system interfaces with varying protocol standards across the full OSI model
• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Experience with SysML and Cameo
• Ability to get results from teams without direct authority
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related experience
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
