- You will serve as an Industrial Hygiene Program Manager for the U.S. Marine Corps.
- You will be responsible for planning, developing, and writing agency-wide industrial hygiene and occupational health programs.
- You will develop objectives, program evaluation criteria, and requirements for the elimination or control of disease and occupational health hazards.
- You will provide guidance and recommendations to commanders and program managers to initiate new operational procedures, engineering specifications, and training programs.
- You will conduct special studies to determine the significance of trends in occupational disease involving exposure to chemical, physical, and ergonomic stressors.
- You will represent the Marine Corps in inter-agency meetings involving matters related to industrial hygiene and coordinates programs with Department of Defense, Department of Navy and other Federal Agencies.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position will require being exposed to a variety of risks and hazards associated with work and training environments and conditions, requiring special safety and health precautions, clothing, or equipment.
