You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Global Supply Chain team. Our team owns end-to-end subcontract oversight for complex subsystems, ensuring every partner delivers on schedule, to spec, and within budget.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will be responsible for leading subcontract management
efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration with subcontractors, and driving results to support program
objectives. You will play a critical role on the program team, overseeing subcontract management activities that span the entire lifecycle of complex subsystems and components.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and administering subcontracts to ensure compliance with program requirements and company policies.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure subcontractor alignment and performance.
• Developing and implementing subcontract management plans, strategies, and procedures to drive program success.
• Analyzing and resolving subcontract-related issues, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in or equivalent experience / combined education
• Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
• Ability and willingness to travel as appropriate, based on current issues and performance of suppliers
• Willingness to adapt and learn
• Accountability and commitment to program needs
• Experience managing supplier relationships and leading cross- functional teams in search of innovative solutions
• Ability and initiative to interface with internal and external partners to identify problems and develop solutions
• Ability to interface effectively with customers, and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Must be willing to work onsite in the Orlando office 2 or more days a week.
Desired Skills:
• Proficient in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) to include negotiation experience
• Ability to seek out initiatives and improvements, self start, and work independently
• Ability to interact with management, suppliers and other external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations
• Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate challenging business relationships with external partners
• Ability to decompose and analyze supplier proposals
• Capable of developing negotiation strategies

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
