Join the Fort Worth F-35 Flight Test Engineering Team as a Flight Test Project Engineer in support of an ADP Program. The Flight Test Engineering Team is a portion of the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Directorate within the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Engineering and Technology Functional Engineering Organization. This Team is responsible for strategic planning of the F-35 Development Test (DT) Fleet, supporting coordination for DT data requirements, aircraft configuration management, and near-term execution constraint resolution.
The Flight Test Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Flight Test Lead in all aspects of Flight Science, Mission Systems, and Weapons flight test planning and coordination activities for an ADP program. Tasks for this role include coordination, planning, prioritization, and constraint resolution of Flight Test requirements by interfacing with multiple organizations such as Program Offices, F-35 Test Sites, Production, LM IPTs, an internal/external Program Management teams.
Additional tasks for this position include Control Account Management (CAM) for all Control Accounts associated with this ADP Flight Test program. Responsibilities include baselining new work, updating future forecasts for budget and schedule, variance reporting, travel budget coordination, overall monthly reporting cycle, proposal coordination support, periodic Program reviews, and briefings to leadership.
A level 5 employee typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.
This position involves occasional travel, based on Customer requirements (average of 3-4x/year).
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a final Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Flight Test Execution Experience
• Technical Project Management Experience
• SECRET Security Clearance
• Control Account Management Experience (Current certification highly desired)
Desired Skills:
• F-35 Aircraft and Program experience
• Experience with Envelope Expansion, Mission Systems, or Weapons Systems Test
• Experience working on fighter aircraft platforms
• Experience authoring test plans
• Customer Interface Experience
• Experience managing or statusing complex Integrated Master Schedules
• Proficient with JIRA, MATLAB, and/or Visual Basic Programming
• Experience with database management
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate complex issues with a variety of stakeholders from highly Technical SMEs to Executive Leadership
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
